Know My Knoxville
Favorite Knoxville pastime/location: Downtown Knoxville
Favorite thing about Knoxville: Larger city with a small town feel
What part of town do you live in? Why did you choose that part of town? What makes it special?
I live in Sterchi Hills in North Knoxville with my husband, Ryan, and two cats, Clarice and Annie. We chose this part of town for the proximity to downtown Knoxville (our favorite place to be) and how easily accessible it is to our normal shopping locations, family, and friends.
How long have you lived in Knoxville? Where else have you lived?
I came to Knoxville in 2005 for college and loved it so much that I never left! I have lived in Georgia, Tennessee, Kentucky, Idaho, and Washington.
Favorite TV show…. Game of Thrones, The Walking Dead, Parenthood, Wheel of Fortune
Favorite movie… Can’t pick just one! Top Five: The Notebook, Shawshank Redemption, Green Mile, Forest Gump, Dirty Dancing
Favorite vacation… Anywhere with a beach, mimosas, and sunshine!
Best advice you’ve ever been given… Your sweet spot in life may be very small but isn’t that what a spot is… small? You don’t have to be good at everything or be everything for everyone.
How do you spend your free time… I love spending time with my husband, family, and friends! In addition to that, I love having quiet time in the Bible, writing for my blog and book, and reading anything that will help me grow personally or professionally (or reading romance novels). I love to run, go canoeing with my family, and working in my garden.
