Ribbon cuttings

In September the Computer Depot celebrated the grand opening of its second Knoxville location. This retail/service center is located at 264B North Peters Road behind Puleo’s Grill. Thomas Hill, owner, is pictured cutting the ribbon and is joined by his wife, Rebekah, and daughters, Jessica and Kaitlyn, associates, friends, and Knoxville Chamber Ambassadors.
Opening day at the Tennessee Valley Fair is highly anticipated each year. The start of the 89th annual event was especially significant to members of the Knoxville business community. Knoxville Mayor Bill Haslam and Knox County Mayor Mike Ragsdale helped recognize the 50-year partnership between the fair and the Knoxville Chamber during a special ribbon-cutting ceremony on September 5th.
Rural Metro celebrated the grand opening of its new Powell location on Old Clinton Highway in July. Knoxville TVA Employees Credit Union celebrated the grand opening of its new location at 4520 Greenway Drive, Knoxville, TN in June. Pictured center cutting the ribbon is Charlotte Beets, Senior Vice President of Operations, and Denise O'Dell, Branch Manager. They are joined by County Commissioner R. Unarmed Merchants, located at 129 South Gay Street, celebrated their grand opening in May. Owners Nathan Brown and Aaron Brown are pictured center cutting the ribbon and are joined by family, friends, associates, and Knoxville Chamber Ambassadors. Unarmed Merchants is a specialty retail store featuring unique wares from around the world.
   
WorkSpace Interiors celebrated the Grand Opening of its Knoxville location on 2820 Middlebrook Pike in May. Robert Feathers, owner, is pictured center cutting the ribbon and is joined by associates, friends, and Knoxville Chamber Ambassadors. WorkSpace Interiors is the East Tennessee Regions Authorized Steelcase dealer and offers commercial office furnishings, move management, warehouse storage, interior design services, and architectural finishes.
