Nominations are now being accepted for the Greater Knoxville Business Journal’s 40 under 40 presented by the University of Tennessee Professional MBA Program.

The event is designed to honor professionals and business leaders under the age of 40 who are making a difference in business and the community.

Those selected for the honor will be featured in the January issue of the Greater Knoxville Business Journal, the 2009 Book of Lists and at the annual Book of Lists reception at the Knoxville Convention Center.

Nomination forms are available at www.knoxvillebiz.com. The forms request detailed information about the nominee, including contact information, business experience, community activities, as well as previous awards and honors.

Nominees must be age 39 or younger as of Dec. 31, 2008. They may also work for nonprofit and government agencies, as well as private industry. Deadline for nominations is Oct. 1.
