The Development Corporation of Knox County, local elected officials including Knox County Mayor Mike Ragsdale, and other guests celebrated the official opening of Knox County's newest business park with a ribbon cutting ceremony.
Hardin Business Park is a 95 acre development in the heart of Innovation Valley's Technology Corridor. The park offers development ready sites uniquely located between the Oak Ridge National Laboratory, the University of Tennessee and McGhee Tyson Airport, with easy access to all and also to other important regional and national transportation arteries.
Hank Bertelkamp, former chairman of The Development Corporation was recognized during the ceremony for his great service and dedication to the Knoxville business community. The street leading in to Hardin Business Park was named Bertelkamp Lane in his honor.
Hardin Business Park 's mission is to attract top quality business tenants and become a vital component of the community's economic development efforts, fostering quality job creation throughout the region.
